Sudhir Choudhrie is an Indian-born businessman based in London. The robust entrepreneur and philanthropist faced health challenges as a young boy that required a heart transplant. Even though he had a challenging life, he never let these problems stop him from making several accomplishments in his life.
Sudhir Choudhrie has a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Delhi in India. He joined his grandfather in the family’s real estate business after graduating. Soon after, he ventured into his own business, launching a business to resale the London television equipment to the Indian government. As his ventures grew, he expanded the Magnum International Trading Company in 1975, dealing with farm machinery. His top-notch entrepreneurial skills made his name rise in the business world. He established many partnerships globally, among them establishing Adidas and Taj Hotels in India.
Currently, the businessman is exploring one of his passions for Indian art and the collection of vintage cars. His love for vintage cars collection draws back to his childhood years. Sudhir Choudhrie’s first ever car was a Mercedes 320 Cabriolet D, which he holds dear to him, produced from 1937 to 1942. He also has Mercedes Benz 170V Sedan W and DKW F7 Deluxe Convertible automobiles from Germany. Sudhir Choudhrie takes pride in owning the oldest restored car in his collection, the Cottereau 7hp Voiturine 1903, the Hispano-Suiza H6B 1927 Darracq 12hp Type V Circa 1914 from France. Italy’s most iconic Fiat 514 is also present in the entrepreneur’s collection. Sudhir Choudhrie loves the challenge of restoring a vintage car to its original state. Sudhir collects these cars in preparation as he plans to build a car museum and an art gallery for exhibiting the collection.
